Accessing the Message Board
To navigate to the Message Board:
In the sidebar, go to Intranet.
Click on Message Board.
Exploring Posts
Once inside the Message Board:
You can select a post from the topics listed on the left.
Alternatively, you can use the search function on the right to find specific posts.
Viewing and Reacting to a Post
When viewing a post, you have the option to react to it.
To add a reaction:
Press the Add button under the post.
Select the emoji you want to react with.
Your selected reaction will then appear on the post.
To see who has reacted to a post:
Click on the emoji reaction.
A list will display showing who reacted with that emoji.
If multiple users reacted, click on "1 other" (or the equivalent) to see all reactions.
Adding a Comment
To comment on a post:
Type your comment in the text box at the bottom.
Press Comment to submit.
You can also react to individual comments using the same method as reacting to a post.
Post Actions (Top-Right Actions Bar)
Different users have different permissions based on their roles:
Edit Post: Available to the post's author and moderators. Allows content editing and file attachments.
Lock Post: Available to moderators only. Prevents further comments and reactions (except by moderators).
Hide Post: Available to moderators only. Hides the post from general view, making it visible only to moderators and managers.
Pin Post: Available to moderators only. Pins the post to the top of the topic list for easy visibility.
Delete Post: Available to the post's author only. Removes the post from the message board.
Unsubscribe: Available to subscribed users. Stops notifications related to the post.
Comment Actions
Each comment has additional options:
Edit Comment: Available to the comment’s author and moderators. Allows modification of the comment’s content.
Lock Comment: Available to moderators only. Prevents further reactions to the comment.
Hide Comment: Available to moderators only. Hides the comment from general view, making it visible only to moderators and managers.
Delete Comment: Available to the comment’s author. Removes the comment from the post.
