Widgets are information boxes displayed on your dashboard.
These handy widgets allow you to quickly access various items, reports and integrate your favorite websites right into your Dashboard, making browsing and accessing important information a breeze.
ADD A WIDGET
To add a new widget, click the Edit Widgets button at the top right and select +Add.
Choose what information you want to be displayed, followed by the color for your widget and a timeframe and status if applicable.
Once you are finished, click Add.
These are the widget types you can choose from and what they do.
Click the name of any Widget to jump to detailed instructions:
- Contacts Added: The number of contacts added in the specified time frame.
- Contacts With Activity: The number of contacts for which a new activity has been added in the specified time frame.
- Contacts Emailed: The number of contacts emailed in the specified time frame.
- Contact Info: Displays number of contacts added, emailed, and activity
- Contact Search: Set the parameters to access a specific contact search
- Gross Transaction Income: The total amount of Gross Commission in the specified time frame for transactions with a specific status for the specified account/office/brokerage.
- Broker Transaction Income: The total amount of Broker Net Commission in the specified time frame for transactions with a specific status for the specified account/office/brokerage. Only available for brokerage managers.
- Agent Transaction Income: The total amount of Agent Net Commission in the specified time frame for transactions with a specific status for the specified account/office/brokerage.
- Sales Volume: The total amount of Sales Price in the specified time frame for transactions with a specific status for the specified account/office/brokerage.
- Transactions Created: The total amount of transactions in the specified time frame with a specific status for the specified account/office/brokerage.
- Transactions Executed: The number of transactions with closing or lease execution dates in the specified time frame.
- Quick Access: A link to a specific contact/transaction in a widget.
- Vendor Summary: The total commission income in the specified time frame for transactions with a specific status for the specified vendor/vendor type/commission line item type.
- Calendar: Select if the calendar is not already set as a widget
- Embedded Website: This can be useful for news or other websites.
- External Link: Create a quick link to a frequently accessed website
- Custom HTML: Allows you to embed content such as YouTube videos or forms
- To Do: List of upcoming tasks
Your new widget will then be added to your Dashboard.
EDITING A WIDGET
For widgets that have a status or end date associated with it, click the time frame in the widget to edit:
Then, make your changes and click Save on the bottom.
REARRANGE THE WIDGETS
To rearrange a widget, click and drag the top bar of the widget to where you want it on the page. Then, drag the bottom right corner to adjust the size.
If you are on a mobile device, click the purple Edit icon on the top right corner and click and drag the order icons to rearrange. Then click Save.
DELETING A WIDGET
To delete a widget from your dashboard, click the Edit Widgets button in the top-right corner.
Then click the Minus icon on a widget to delete it.
NOTE:
- Calendar, To-Do, and Intranet widgets cannot be deleted.
- Brokerage widgets can only be deleted by a brokerage manager.
CONTACT SEARCH
This widget allows you to quickly access your contacts by lead source, status, type, or tag.
- Set your search parameters from the dropdowns and click Add.
Click Done
- The widget will appear on your dashboard with the chosen search criteria.
- Clicking a contact name will open the contact's page.
NOTE: If you need to make changes to the parameters of the Widget, click Edit and the list will display as above.
EMBEDDED WEBSITE
Allows you to embed a website as a widget within your Dashboard.
- This can be useful for news or other websites.
- This can only be done if the website's permission settings allow for it to be embedded in other websites.
- If it doesn't allow for this, the widget type will automatically switch to the External Link Widget.
Customize the Widget Appearance
You have the option to select a color code for your widget.
Click on the Color field and choose a color from the available options.
Enter the Website URL
In the URL field, input the web address of the external website you wish to add to your dashboard.
- Ensure that you enter the complete and correct URL, including the https:// prefix.
- Enter the Title of your widget.
- Once completed, click Add at the bottom Right.
Next, click Done.
EXTERNAL LINK
Allows you to add a link to any website. There will be a 'click to open in new tab' button on the widget.
For the External Link widget, you are also asked to enter the link name.
This is a title for your reference.
Save and Load the Widget
Once you have entered the desired URL and customized the widget appearance, click the Save button.
The widget will then load the specified website within your TotalBrokerage Dashboard.
CUSTOM HTML
- Choose a Color for its appearance.
- Enter a Title for the widget.
- Click the 3 dots to open the menu
- Click the Chevron to open the field to Paste the HTML code
Use the HTML Editor and Embed External HTML Code (e.g., YouTube Video)
- The HTML text editor will appear.
- Paste the HTML Source Code and click “Save” to apply it.
Your Custom HTML Widget is now live on your TotalBrokerage dashboard.
While this guide used a YouTube video as an example, you can embed content from various sources.
TO DO WIDGET
The To-Do widget displays tasks that must be completed from your Action Plans or any manually created tasks for you, your contact, or one of your transactions.
Tasks can be marked completed directly from the To-Do widget by clicking the checkbox next to the task.
You can also access the contact/translation related to the task by clicking on the blue name.
You can edit manually created tasks by clicking the pencil icon.
Current: Current will show Today's and all Past Due tasks.
Upcoming: Tasks for the next 30 days will be displayed.
NOTE: this will not show any upcoming Action Plan tasks; it will only show manually created tasks.
CREATE A NEW TASK
Create a new task by clicking + Add Task.
Complete the following:
1) Select whether this task is for an Account, Contact, or Transaction.
2) Select which Account, Contact, or Transaction applies.
3) Add a description of what needs to be completed.
4) Select the due date of the task.
5) Click Save to add the task.
NOTE: If you are a manager, you will see a dropdown menu in the To-Do widget that allows you to select which tasks to see - tasks for your Account only, tasks for a Managed Account, Office, or the entire Brokerage.
To do this, click My Account on the top right of the widget.
